Z Series Medium-Sized DC Motors

The frame of the Z-series medium-sized DC motors offers advantages such as compact dimensions and light weight. Suitable for thyristor-rectified power supplies, the motors exhibit excellent commutation performance under rapidly changing load currents. The entire stator and rotor are treated with solvent-free varnish using vacuum pressure impregnation (VPD), giving the windings good moisture resistance and mechanical strength, as well as excellent insulation and thermal conductivity. The armature core is constructed from laminated silicon steel sheets, providing excellent magnetic permeability. All motors in this series are equipped with a rolling bearing lubrication system that allows for lubrication without stopping the motor. The insulation class for this series of motors is Class F.
