YZR / YZ Series Wound Rotor Three-Phase Induction Motors for Hoisting and Metallurgical Applications

The YZR and YZ series motors are specialised products designed to drive various types of lifting machinery and other similar equipment; they feature a high overload capacity and excellent mechanical strength. Consequently, they are particularly suitable for equipment operating under short-time or intermittent duty cycles, involving frequent starting and braking, occasional overloads, and significant vibration and shock. The insulation classes for this series of motors are Class F and Class H. Class F is suitable for general environments where the cooling medium temperature does not exceed 40°C, whilst Class H is suitable for metallurgical environments where the cooling medium temperature does not exceed 60°C. Both types of motor possess identical electrical performance. The motors feature excellent sealing; those for general environments have an IP44 protection rating, whilst those for metallurgical environments have an IP54 protection rating.
